The Greece Fiction Awards
Three awards for English-language fiction set in Greece. Comedy, romance, historical fiction. Publishers, or traditionally published authors submitting directly, can enter (entry fee applies). Readers nominate indie authors with a verified review — or a screenshot of purchase. Voted on by two communities.
The Aristophanes Award
The novel set in Greece that made you laugh and want to book a flight — comic capers, romance gone sideways, family chaos, satire. Where the landscape, the culture, and the people are active participants in everything that goes wrong and wonderfully right.
The Herodotus Award
Set in Ancient Greece, Byzantine, or modern historical Greece— including myth retellings and reimaginings. The book that makes the past feel present and gives flesh and voice to people whose history was recorded only as names and dates.
The Aphrodite Award
The book set in Greece that made you fall in love — slow-burn, or dark and dangerous — with the characters, the landscape, and the idea of living differently.
Publishers, or traditionally published authors submitting directly, can enter (entry fee applies).
Readers nominate indie authors with a verified review of at least 50 words on Amazon or Goodreads — or a screenshot of your purchase if you’d rather not post a public review.
